All Australian Boating South East Queensland offers a number of services to schools and other Organisations.

Marine Studies - Theory

The ability to access qualified, experienced marine trainers is invaluable for freeing up the time of your teachers and giving your students the opportunity of experiencing a new learning style.

This marine training covers all required Maritime Safety Queensland rules and regulations for the issue of a Recreational Marine Driver Licence including :

	Registration & licensing
	Safety equipment
	General safety obligation
	Handling emergency & distress situations
	Trip planning
	Speed limits
	Buoys, beacons and other aides to navigation
	Inland boating, including water skiing rules
	Navigational lights
	Chart reading
	Weather interpretation
	Tidal calculations
	and much more........

Marine Studies - Practical

This hands-on marine training is conducted on the water and includes

	boat orientation
	boat safety
	equipment
	mechanics & electronic of the vessel
	boat handling skills at low and high speed
	handling an emergency at sea
	docking, anchoring and mooring a vessel
	safe operation of a vessel including trim, safe speed, communication, maintaining a safe lookout, use of vessel controls and stability
	and much more.....

The marine training on offer specializes in leading up to the issue of Boat or PWC licences to grade 11 & 12 marine studies students.

Assessment only

Should you have the ability to offer the required BoatSafe Training within your school but lack the resouces to conduct assessments or practical training we can help. Assessment only is also available on request to schools to enable their students to be issued a Boat licence as part of their grade 11 & 12 marine studies subject.

Clubs, Sporting Groups, Naval Cadet Units and boating/sailing clubs
